Ethernet emulators like the nICE are useful and economical for
situations where a resource has to be shared between many developers. The
emulator can be shared over an existing network (ethernet), hence no
infrastructure change is necessary. The nICE is built on top of the existing
DspIce technology.
Features :
»
Centralized design - you may debug from any computer in
the network by logging in remotely. This increases the number of people
that have access to the same system (low cost development)
»
Ethernet 100BaseT
»
High Level Language debugging with Code Composer and Code
Composer Studio.
»
PCI bus powered (no external supplies required)
»
Wide variety of ARM and TI DSPs (see below for detail)
»
Multi-processor / multi-emulator system
support
»
Variable Scan Rate (TCLK between 5-20 MHz)
»
Low voltage processor support - 1.0V to 5.0V
processors (auto-detect)
»
Supports RTDX, DSP-Bios, etc.
