Softronics Pty. Ltd. was founded by Dr. Anthony Overmars and commenced its operations in September 1986.

Softronics originally started by providing consultancy work and delivering its first PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design to its customers. From PCB design, the company has since progressed to develop products with a specific focus on emulators. Emulators are used in conjunction with a development environment to communicate with remote target systems (eg. TI DSPs) in order to make the development of electronic applications faster and more cost effective.

Over the past 15 years, Softronics Pty Ltd. has developed and manufactured a powerful state-of-the-art range of emulators that support the DSP technology of Texas Instruments. To cope with the changing needs of the market and the continuous upgrades of  technology, Softronics has always produced new and innovative products. As an example, we were the first company in the world to produce a multi-target emulator called xICE (or Dspice LVx).  Recently, Softronics also released the fastest PCI Emulator in the world - the dICE.

We are a growing company that has registered an increase of more than 100% in recent years. Our vision is to be the world product leader in the emulation market, and our goal is to increase our market share by continuing to provide high quality, superior products; particularly in Asia , Europe and America.
